Can you say 'no' to the offer of free promotion for your business?

I thought not. By the way, this is my way of introducing myself to this forum.

I'm a freelance copywriter. Which means I get paid for writing word for businesses. I fill websites with easy to read, concise copy. I pen (well, type) marketing material and press releases. I've written quizzes for a training website and manuals for an IT business. And lots more besides.

So back to the free publicity thing. I also run a blog that provides inspiration and advice to people starting out in business. The advice is based on my 20-plus years in commercial management. The inspiration is by telling the stories of ordinary people who've set up their own business in the last couple of years.

I decided to become a copywriter in early 2009 because a key theme of my career in finance and IT has been a commitment to excellence in written communication. I love writing and I love teaching and encouraging through writing.

If you'd like me to consider writing about your business, in an article for my blog, please let me know. It's at http://www.bizoh.net.

My business is still in the start up stage and I'm also taking an active interest in other start ups. I look forward to learning and sharing through this forum.
