Hi guys,
I hope you're all well.
I'm the MD of a web development agency called deeg Consultancy, and I wanted to drop a post on here in the hope of gathering your feedback on a new development system we're testing called 'Cloud Consultancy'.
You can find the basic premise and initial proposal for the system here: http://www.deegconsultancy.co.uk/cloud, but essentially we're inviting all coders and designers to apply to join a developer 'cloud' which can be utilised for projects of varying scale and complication, based on their unique skill base.
We've been doing some initial promotion and feedback-gathering for while now, and we already have a number of developers signed up and working on projects. However, we're still keen to keep rectruiting developers and designers with a wide range of skills in order to work through the backlog of projects we're got queued up.
If you're interested, or if you know anyone who may be, then we'd love to recieve your application, at http://www.deegconsultancy.co.uk/cloud.
If you've got any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
Thanks
Alun

Hello
Just been looking on your site and how do web developers get paid and is there a different price structure for different coding?
Do you have to work with different developers on sites?

Hi Keith,
To answer your questions in reverse order:
1) You don't neccessarily have to work with different developers on a project. If it requires multiple skill sets, or there are tight time constraints, then the project may be split between Cloud members, but this will not be done unless neccessary.
2) Payment rates are decided on a per-project basis. The idea is that we would approach Cloud members with a project and a cost, and the project member can choose to accept or decline the project. There is absolutely no obligation to accept any projects that are offered.
3) I'm a little unclear about this - Cloud members would complete the project and would submit an invoice for the agreed amount to us. They would then be paid by a their choice of provider, e.g. cheque, Paypal, bank transfer etc.
I hope that answers your questions.
Thanks
