Hi everyone, this my first posting to this forum and I look forward to chatting with you all!
I am looking into organising a networking group in the Essex / London area, for women only, sorry lads!! and want to know if this interests anyone and what are your thoughts, ideas etc.,
I run a homebased secretarial / PA business and have found my limited experiences of local networking a bit off putting, hence the idea to set up something I think will be more appealing and aimed at women only, sole trader companies who would benefit from meeting on a 2/3 monthly basis, to exchange views, advice and support.
Plese me know if this interests you.

Also another group worth looking at for ideas is the SWAN group - http://www.theswangroup.co.uk - Sussex-only, but perhaps a model you could follow. The online forum hasn't seen much take up but offline meetings are well attended.
cheers

WIRE is a good networking tool for women only and they also offer a subsidised bank loan through HSBC bank. The rate is excellent and at the last networking event that I went to there was over 200 people there.

Gail, I looked at the Wire website, but do you have to subscribe to them, before you are able to access information on their networking events and to receive cheaper bank loans?
Thanks
Julie
