Hi,
We've been busy making new websites and want to tell the world about them... But where can we post press releases online?
Any ideas would be good!
Thanks,
Tom

Hi
Try these;
www.prweb.com (make sure to choose the regional targeting correctly)
www.responsesource.com
www.news4media.com
www.prnewswire.co.uk
Make sure you have a good analytics package in place to track the return you get from Press Releases.
Also, you should make sure you're monitoring your brand to see who picks up on the press release.
All the best,
Phil

Hi Tom
It depends what you're after. I'll second Phill with ResponseSource & PRWeb. They cost about £50.00 a go.
I have a network of Press Release Sites where you can submit your PR and be guaranteed around 40 safe and clean backlinks for SEO purposes. Submission costs £49.00 per press release. (Email me for a StartUps deal).
Thanks

Thanks that sounds interesting, can you give me an example of a press release website you run? I'm interested really in genuinely reaching journalists who might be interested in running a story featuring our sites, as opposed to any SEO benefit or otherwise.

The following are all free and OK for online exposure:
If your into Twitter and Facebook you can try using:
https://www.pitchengine.com/
Some of the following give backlinks some don't, I wouldn't get too hung up on this:
http://www.prlog.org/
http://www.prhere.com/
http://www.free-press-release.com/

Hope this helps.

An alternative is Pressitt, which is a free social media news release template. Good for targetting bloggers and online influencers:
