Where to go next? Help and advice needed.

First of I'm new to this, so hello and bare with me on this one.. I need help and advice on what I need to do to start my own sales force. I have been working in direct face to face sales to residential properties on a cold calling and prior booking basis for a number of different utility companies for a number of years now. What I'm wanting to do is break away from this with a team of guys that are all good salesmen, and start a sales agency where I can offer companies the service of a sales team to gain a steady growth of customers. I have recently done this for a window cleaning company in my area and helped them build a substantial customer base in a very short period of time. I now want to take it to a bigger stage and make it a business. Any advice, help, tips, or any general pointers would be much appreciated.

If you already have the sales force in place then I would suggest the next thing to do is go out and get some clients. Identify your target market and see how much business you can drum up. This should quickly give you an idea of how viable your new business is going to be. How many clients could you attract, how much would they be willing to pay etc. You can then use this information to draw up a business plan.
Once you have established how viable the business is then think about what kind of company type you want, getting all of your guys on contract, sales training, websites etc.

Peter makes a really good point. It is very important to have a well thought out business plan before you take the business to far.
Careful planning can help reduce the effect of unexpected costs and other unforeseen events.

Sounds to me like you know what you are doing..so just keep doing it step by step! :-)
I think working on getting some clients for yourself as "consulting" or "sales" firm, and then finding salesmen to start doing the work is a good start.
