What questions to ask to prove demand?
nickburrett started this topic @ 15:23 on 03/12/2004
Hi,
I am currently trying to prove demand for a taxi company in my area and have devised a web based survey, I would be glad of any constructive critism / suggestions either here or by email.
Is there anything else I could ask that I may have missed?

Hi Nick,
I think survey is a good start. It's a decent length - long enough to give you the info you need but not too long to put people off.
Couple more questions:
How often you you take a taxi
What time of day do you normally take a taxi?
This would give you an idea of the spread of demand through the day/week.
Also , other forms of transport available I think you need train, lift from friends and maybe even bikes adding in.
Are you just interested in the thoughts of people living in Sedgemoor/you locality? If you want everyone's views I'd have a big note at the top of the survey page.
Also - on your home page, I would have "WIN £100 - COMPLETE MY 2 MINUTE SURVEY" in big, bold letters at the top to grab attention.
The other thing I thought is really you're just interested in the views of people living nearby so how are you going o tget them to complete your survery? Are you handing hard copies round? Maybe get out at lunchtime on the streets? Local paper?
Jonny
