Hello, I am new to the forum, hope everybody is ok
Need some advice please, I am looking to get a website started and I was wondering if :
1) It is ok to show various other companies info and contact details without their permission ?
It would hopefully be generating work for them so it would be in a very positive way.
2) Would I need to take out any type of insurance to cover myself for a classified listings website ?
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks
Jamie

1/ Depends in what context you are going to publish that information. If you put the address on the same page as lets say photos that the company would not want to be associated with then you might attract problems. If unsure ask permission.
2/ I don't think insurance but have a solicitor draw up a good disclaimer + terms and conditions of use. Check what other sites have in T&C,

1 I would be careful, because even though you may not see a problem with it some companies may.
2 I'd agree with the above get some terms and conditions either write them yourself, get a solicitor or if you look online there may be some good templates you could edit slightly.
this sounds intriguing, what is the site about?
