I have a web directory - fairly new and google page ran 0. Over the past 4 days I have had over a 1.000 visitors sign up to my site but no one ahs submitted their website.
I can't understand why they are bothering to sign up as they are leaving no link. I.e. user comments are disabled.
I have checked that websites can be submitted OK, and there s no problem there. I added 2 url's as a dummy user to test this.
If anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful,as it is most intriguing.

Hi Annie,
If you haven't already done so, install (or just look at) Google Analytics.
This will allow you to see where the traffic is coming from. Once you have an idea of the origin of the traffic, this may shed some light on deeper visitor behavour.
Perhaps put your findings in this thread so that it will give people a better perspective to comment from.

Hi,
Try searching in Google Analytics , which list the number of users visited your page .
and later Try to update you website with quality information regularly , add the blogs which will be provides more info..
