Tickets have gone on sale for the hottest event on the entrepreneurial calendar.
MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival kicks off in Sheffield in just under two weeks, with a ‘rock star’ speaker line-up including
Dragons’ Den legend Peter Jones, iconic British designer Wayne Hemingway, MOBO Awards founder Kanya King and Cobra Beer’s Lord Bilmoria.
Tickets for the two-day event, described by its chair Michael Hayman as “like Glastonbury for entrepreneurs,” has been specially designed to welcome young or first-time business owners, with student tickets starting from £15 a day.
The festival will showcase the up-and-coming stars of British business, announcing the winner of the public vote in its
Change Makers competition– a shortlist of 26 entrepreneurial rising stars under the age of 30, as selected by a panel of industry leaders.
The winner will be offered an exclusive mentoring session onboard
The MADE Chopper – a special helicopter service laid on by the festival’s charity partner, The Children’s Air Ambulance, to transport guests from London to Sheffield.
Attendees can also take part in a Twitter competition to
ask Peter Jones their burning business question, using the hashtag #MeetDragonJones. The
Dragons’ Den star will choose his favourite question on stage at the festival and take the winner for a one-to-one mentoring session.
Explaining the significance of the event, he said: "If you're not at MADE, you're never going to be made. You need to be there."
MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival takes place at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 September. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the MADE Festival website
