The UK’s tech start-ups are leading the way in tackling the country’s unemployment crisis.
That is according to two
Startups 100 firms,
Adzuna (#21) and
Duedil (#30), who have reunited to produce an infographic charting the industry’s job creation.
It shows that there are currently more than 2,500 tech start-up job vacancies being advertised in the UK, with an average wage of over £35,000.
Another Startups 100 firm was among the top recruiters.
onefinestay (#8) currently has 24 vacancies to fill, while Badoo has 29 and Mind Candy, 23.
Furthermore, 27% of start-ups are enticing new starters with the promise of equity when they join the business.
However, one in 10 computer science graduates remain unemployed, highlighting the importance of start-ups continuing to pursue growth and job creation.
