I have recently started up a new business: Simply Words Editing Services. I undertake proofreading of text, to check spelling, punctuation, grammar and consistency.

At a seminar for people in a similar position, membership of Facebook was recommended to the audience.

My daughter helped me to set up my membership, and create a group: Spelling, punctuation and grammar. Then she asked her 'friends' to become ‘friends’ with me, too. All very helpful, but how does that promote my business if only my daughter's personal friends join the group?

Would anyone from the business world reading this like to become my 'friend', too, or offer further advice? Thanks for your interest.
