Hi, I'm attempting to sell my year-old Internet business and am looking for directories/online places to advertise it. Any ideas?
the URL is www.gamegoodies.co.uk , and I sell video-game related merchandise.

i've considered ebay, but they only seem to have 'Get rich quick' businesses on there. I doubt I'll get a realistic offer for my business on there. Thanks for businessesforsale.com - I have already considered it but was looking for specific sites for Internet-related businesses. Cheers

Hi
You could try:
http://www.jimworld.com/apps/webmaster.forums/action::topiclist/forum::buy-my-website/
But you may find it difficult to sell. This domain (gamegoodies.co.uk) has NO data records on http://www.alexa.com/
And has zero inbound links, with only 23 links within google. This is very poor. The site design and files are perhaps worth around £250 max.
We provide a far more comprehensive, function rich, and user friendly shopping cart ready to use for £399, this includes the first years hosting and a new domain name:

I'm also in the process of trying to sell my sites to concentrate fully on a new venture. I have three for sale in total with over £1,000 worth of stock at wholesale price.
I've had a listing up on eBay now for the past week and have so far had no positive enquiries. I've tried to be as comprehensive as possible in the listing without going into every single detail. As you mentioned it is just full of get-rich-quick type schemes. Failing any interest in the next couple of days I'll try one of the other above mentioned sites.
