The concept of this new website is a revolutionary idea which brings together two of the most highly profitable industries; the social networking & the travelling sector together. It aims to fill in the gap in those two industries with high earnings. I am seeking a £60K-£65K angel investment for completing the development and promotion & marketing. There are four ROI scenarios varying from 1.2 to 4.5 years.

Investment Description:
This website will offer a unique selling service (USS) to its subscribers via securing the best trip deals of the market. While there are many social networks & traveling sites in the internet, no other website really offers a complete way to combine social networking with traveling. This website will fill this gap by allowing its members to travel with their friends (or not) by getting the best trip deals available in the market. Its success depends to the USS, the excellent user experience and the simplified processes to accomplish it.

Sources of Income
The website will generate revenue from the trip deals (5% commission), ads and affiliates. Income deriving from ads depends heavily on traffic. The volume of traffic depends on the advertising of the website (refer to About the investment section). Affiliate programs are a great way to generate income. A great example is Amazon.com, which pays 5% commission.

About the investment
The funds will be used as following: - £5K-£7K for development, - £2K for marketing campaign setup and - £53K-£55K for promoting the website via various ways.

The Industry
The social networking and traveling industries are probably the strongest and most profitable web markets at the moment (~ 35% of all travelers booked their holidays via social networks in 2010). This website will benefit from this fact and gain a considerable market share via its revolutionary idea. The trend over the next 5 years shows that more and more Internet users are either getting involved in social networking or use internet to book their trips.

ROI
The investor(s) will receive 90% of all the income generated till the amount of investment is reached. After the ROI period, the investor(s) will be entitled the 30% of the website. In high level & assuming ROI will be 24 months: 1st month: development starts, 3rd month: advertising campaign setup, 7th month: website goes live + advertising campaign kicks off, 10th month: ROI period starts, 35th month: post ROI period where investors possess the 30% stake of the company.

I have already designed the majority of the functionalities so the development will not start from scratch.
