Sage Pay has launched a Merchant Services Package designed to help start-ups get online with e-commerce.
This follows publication of the company’s 2011 E-business Benchmark Report, which suggested that 10% of internet business owners paid over £500 in initial start-up costs.
Sage Pay’s basic payment processing system, Sage Pay Go, is offered free for the first month as part of the package, while its accounting software, Sage One, is available on a 120 day free trial.
Small business users can then either sign up to Sage One Cashbook for £5 per month (excluding VAT) or Sage One Accounts, for £10 per month.
The promotional package, which is available until February 16, also includes Sage’s Planning for Business software and a £50 PayPal credit voucher.
