As a sole trader this is absolutely nothing to do with being a company, which is what companies house look after All you need to do is register with the Inland Revenue (you can ring them on 08459 15 45 15 - they are quite helpful on this topic), make sure you keep good records of all your transactions and you are pretty much all done compliance wise until its tax return time if it is just you in the trade and it is a small scale operation. There is lots of help if you look to the left on general aspects of starting up in business. Regards,
