I am a complete novice to Property Development but everyone has got to start somewhere. Saying that, I haven't done so badly over the years from property investment without actually doing anything other than buying and selling my own place since the 80s. I am currently preparing for a relocation to Creuse, France in Sept/Oct where I intend to enter the business from scratch armed only with research, motivation, intelligence and finance. This is where you come in. I am looking for two things: (1) advice, information & guidelines to the basic fundamentals, neccessities & essentials - however obvious eg. learn the lingo -to such a grandiose plan, and (2) I am inviting one or two persons who would relish this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join me in this courageous but ultimately lucrative and satisfying plan to build a property acquisition/renovation/development business in a beautiful new environment. If you can help or are interested, then please advise & contact me with your details at Johnnymacnick@tiscali.co.uk. Thankyou so much in advance..John

Johnny,
I've recently set up a company offering DIY enthusiasts the opportunity to be involved in their own construction project. My partners are both builders and property developers and between us we have a fair amount of experience of property developing in france. Check out our website at the link below and ask any questions you have on the forums, or alternatively contact us at the details provided. We'd be more than happy to offer you any advice.

Good luck, it's a very exciting thing to do.

Hi All,
If you need help paying for the euro's i am always willing to help.
Good luck though the french market has been one of the toughest property markets to sell property in for a long time, think the only place tougher is marbella on the costa del sol
Regards
Damian
