Thanks for the feedback. I have played around with the background before. Ended up going back to the original no background.

Hello
You've laid out according to nearly all of the rules, used a friendly color scheme, kept your content tight and placed it correctly. I am able to understand immediately who you are, what you do and why I should shop with you and you have done your seo homework. You have covered pretty much every angle and created a nice web site which I would use and tell my friends about.
To offer a constructive comment please take a look at this from one of your competitors: http://www.thebeautyroom.co.uk/. I picked that one out of the top three hits from google (Searched 'skincare products') because firstly the best of them and secondly it was most similar to yours.
The beauty room site has a slightly smaller header (Bulk bores people away and wastes valuable space), uses slightly smaller fonts(A little easier on the eye), has a slightly more contrasting color scheme (Easier ocular navigation), is slightly narrower in the body(Will fit any screen resolution), doesn't use any borders(Less overkill) and the navigation for shopping is seperate from the site content navigation(Leads customers straight to the products).
To be clearer, if you reduce the body width to 800 pixels, make the logo the same height as the contact details, put the contact details in the middle with the rossette, put the search box on the right with the basket link under it, put the site navigation (Home,Garantee, Information, About Us, Shipping, Contact Us & FAQ) wher the Browse by category is (Not needed), replace the four images in the middle with one that embodies skin care or shows many products, slightly darken your light green shade, reduce your font size and get rid of the black borders - all of them, you will make a massive improvement.
I think that you have made a fine site, but attention to the small details will perfect it for you & make you look more professional.
Good luck with it
John

Hi,
Website looks great - really fresh and well laid out.
May I ask how you made it? I have just posted up my website, doesn't look anywhere near as good as this.
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael
Thanks it took a while. What is your website? Im sure its just as good as mine was when first posted. With some effort it will always improve and probably take around a month to get what you want.
Used word press. Good community if you pick the right theme and shopping cart.
Thanks
Dean

Hi Dean,
As a web developer, I agree with John. You have a fine site but some attention to the small details will help.
1. I like the green but there is too much! Have you considered an accent color like the blue on the "sale" badge? Or, maybe remove the greenish background? On my sites, I nearly always use neutral background colors like black, white or gray under my main color. (See http://starternetworks.com)
2. Things are well design but I recommend a more minimalistic feel. Can you cut the size of the logo in half?
As a visitor, your site gives me the feeling that something is being pushed my way. With just an hour of work, you could easily give it the presentation feel. You are welcome to contact me if you are ever in need of advice.
Cheers
Jason

Hi Jason
Thanks for the feedback.
Will be adding some more of the blue onto the homepage in the future (promotional banners)
I am really happy with the website now. Going to stick with the rest for the moment.

I like the look of your site, it's very minimal and very inviting and i think identifies it's self well with your product. Nice job
