Looks like a really interesting service. I'd have a search through some other SaaS websites and have a look at how they do their landing pages. There is quite a lot going on there.
I'd certainly look to get the tour a bit bigger / clearer and move it to the top (above the fold) so people get straight onto that. Then a nice signup link at the end.
2 things that may help you on developing the site further
1) make sure you have google analytics installed with goal tracking set up on any forms
2) use a service like clicktale.com to see how people are using your site, where they get stuck, etc
Hopefully that helps!
Cheers,
David

Agreed looks like a cool service!
Definitelty swap the screenshot and the take a tour button around so that it's at the top like dgeere said as thats what people are looking for.

Hey guys, thanks for your replies.
I'll change the take a tour button as you's have suggested tonight and see if that improves the bounce rate.
I'm using google analytics on the site, it's very useful as I can see that in general people land on the front page, then go to the tour, then pricing, and then sign up (with people dropping off along the way).
I don't get much traffic coming through though, so i guess I need to focus some more effort on SEO.
Cheers,
Michael

Yeah I'd try and find some keywords to target that produce some qualified leads. Sms reminder service doesn't have much volume.
Is this a service alot of people are familiar with? I'm not but thats not to say everyone else isn't. I'd try market offline - go see some businesses that could benefit from this service...

Hi guys,
Yep I can see that not many people search for SMS reminder service or similar. I'm guessing that most businesses that would benefit from such a service have not even thought about it or do not know that it exists.
I'll try using direct marketing to get the message out and see how that goes.
Thanks for your feedback TonyMorgan. I too think that it's a useful service - although i'm targeting businesses that would send out SMS appointment reminders I do use it myself for a number of things, such as birthday reminders (you can schedule it to send on the same day each year), and other stuff like reminding me of TV shows I want to watch
You get 5 free SMS credits when you sign up, so feel free to check it out if you want to use it in a similar way
Cheers,
Michael

The site looks good. It becomes very apparent on viewing your landing page as to the service that your site offers. The colour scheme works and the navigation is very easy to follow.
Suggestions would be to add testimonials as this would add a personal touch and invoke more trust in potential client.
Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback lighup, its very much appreciated
Testimonials is definitely something that I'd like to put up.
There are a few customers who are using the service regularly and are quite happy with it from what I can tell, I'm just waiting to get some more numbers onboard before I ask customers for testimonials.
I did send out an email asking if anyone would like to write a testimonial from the start, but didn't get any responses (even though they must be happy with the service as they continue to use it). I'm thinking that perhaps on the 2nd credit purchase I would offer customers some extra credits if they agree to writing a testimonial (since after the 2nd credit purchase they must be happy with the service) - or is this considered bribery (i.e. makes the testimonial not legitimate?)
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,
I have found it very difficult to get my head round what the service actually does - I was on the site for 10 minutes reading around and trying to find it out.
My point is that if I had stumbled across this site normally I would not have spent the time to find out what your service is about (to be honest I'm not sure I really get it now!). So in basic terms I think you need to get more clarity into what the service is and, how it benefits the user.
I am a sales manager - so from my understanding an ideal target for the service, hopefully this comes as usful feedback for you.
As a last point - on the pricing page there is a section which says 'how much revenue is lost per no show' - quantifying that is a nightmare so I would find a simpler way to illustrate your service. Perhaps in terms of time lost.
Hope that helped,
James

I agree with James above, One needs to know what service you offer upon landing on the homepage

Hi guys,
Thanks for your feedback. The service basically allows businesses to schedule SMS messages to be sent out at a point in the future (for appointment reminders etc.).
It's interesting that you found it difficult to find out what the service is for on the home page, I was under the impression that the home page made it pretty clear what AppointmentSMS.com is for. I'd love to hear your suggestions on how I can change the front page to make it clearer what the service does.
Cheers,
Michael

Interesting service indeed, just goes to show that not everything has been thought out. People can still come up with new inventions, It didn't end with Einstein. I never thought such a service existed. Losing the screenshot is a definite recommendation from me.
This could be useful in the business sector for people who are constantly attending meetings etc. Executives can get their PAs to set up such systems for them so that they get sms notifications as a reminder for meetings.

Thanks for your post aditd.
Your right - unfortunately the site doesn't get much traffic, which is a shame because the user's who have found the service have found it very useful from what I gather.
I've got alot to learn in regards to SEO and marketing
I like your site too btw - very neat design
