Low-cost Cloud-based data backup service Just Add Data launched this week targeting sole traders, start-ups and small businesses.

Created by SCA Group, an IT company with a 20 years track record in business-to-business services, the company claims the new online service will backup all files and emails automatically and remotely.

Users’ data is encrypted and stored securely in multiple locations, all of which are in the UK, ensuring files are secure under the UK Data Protection Act.

Small businesses or sole traders that lose the entire contents of their PC or lose a laptop can have all data restored the next day by having a hard disk shipped to them, SCA Group promises.

Charges for the Just Add Data service start at £5-a-month.
