Need self employed sales person

Hello all
I have started a new venture in the world of outdoor advertising based in Liverpool
I want to use a self employed sales person who can (with the help of telesales and under own steam) visit a customer and close a deal
What I am unsure about, is what to offer a sales person to do this kind of job.
I am sure the sales of the advertising space (10'x8') located on main roads will not be the hardest sell, especially as the rates will be very keen
I was thinking of commission only of between 15 & 25% of sale value. What rates are usual
Has anyone here used this kind of service, or can give guidance, that would be good

It all depends on what the advertising rates are and also what they can feasibly achieve. If you were for example selling space for £100 per month and they got 25% of that, then that is obviously £25. How many of those can they get per day. What would you want to earn if you were doing this job. The more you can incentivise your sales staff the better the results will be.
