My name is Abdul, I am interested in ideas about how to start a domiciliary care agency. What are the requirements in registration with the CQC or any other office. And any other info which will help me. May I thank you all in advance for your assistance.

Hi Abdul

Your first step would be to register your company with companies house as a Limited company then register your company with CQC as service provider of regulated activities, this is a form you will have to complete. If you are going to become the manager then you will also have to register with CQC as the registered manager or employ a manager to take on the position. You will have to have all policies and procedures and a statement of purpose completed, because CQC will make arrangements to see you, to have a fit interview and they will need all this in place.

I have templates of policies and procedures, which I made up myself and CQC were astonished I had made them, they said they were excellent. I also have all documents for staff selection and training, and many more documents.

If you are interested then you will need to tweak them to the way your own care agency runs and around your clients. I usually sell them for £995 but will sell them to you due to starting for £750
