Hi, I'm looking into using Protx so I can start accepting payments over the phone and online, I find that I'm losing a lot of business because people are put off because my only way of accepting card payments is through PayPal and Nochex. I went to the bank today (HSBC) and they said it would cost £300 as a one off setup fee to set up an internet merchant account. I can't help but feel they where getting mixed up, as they hadn't come across someone wanting a merchant number for. Surely it isn't £300 to obtain a merchant number? Anyone with experience able to offer any advice? Dan
