Losing the balls!
CreatureWorks started this topic @ 22:42 on 02/10/2012
Hi Guys! Starting a business soon and have started having really anxious feelings I guess linked to the possibility of failure. My excitement has recently turned to a nervous nautiousness (if that's a word) as I'm getting closer to a make or break/now or never situation and I don't know why because my business plan and model are strong and I genuinely believe it will work. But...I'm bricking it...Anyone else struggled with losing the faith or the 'balls'
Sorry weird post..
Tim

You just gotta go all in, Tim, since your business model and plan are already in place.
Once you are in, try to attend some local events where entrepreneurs and small business owners meet. With this, you'll get to be "in the groove" and motivated about running your business.

Great advice and article Wayne. The first two paragraphs pretty much sum up everything I'm feeling and the following solutions are good ones to help get me back on track.
Now I need to fight my way out of this fog and start working :-)

Hello there CreatureWorks,
I think that's normal for everyone who is just starting out. I would be worried if I wasn't feeling that way.
If you have already set everything in place, just relax. Seize the moment and put your heart into it. I'm sure you'd go a long way if you put much hard work into the business.
While waiting, you could also use the help of some free resources for entrepreneurs here:

At least you get something to train yourself to for free. That should in a way help 'keep' the balls.
Best of luck to you and your business!

Thank you Janeydee
Really encouraging words.
It's comforting to know it's probably normal to feel this way. Since my original post I feel a lot chirpier and more positive. Still nervous about putting 10k into a new business in these times but I guess who wouldn't be and you're right, if I work hard enough it will work.
