Hi there guys.

I am Charlie, currently 26 years old, Comp Sci graduate from Imperial, currently holds a relatively senior position in what was a startup company (5m turnover now) where I have been working for the last 6 years.

I’ve always wanted to start a business myself, infact one of the main reason I choose to work for a startup after graduating was to gain experience and better perspective of running the company as a whole.

I am looking for someone who is either experienced in starting a company, who knows the potential pitfalls, or someone who is like minded and well motivated to share the risks and rewards. I’ve got a handful of ideas but I am also open to new suggestions.

Money wise, I have just under 100k in shares and investment I’ve built up over the past few years, which should be enough to get everything started. I am not willing to abandon current job until the business has picked up momentum, but since I have no wife or children I would be dedicating evenings and weekends to it.

In terms of my skills I am very good with all aspects of software/hardware development (Web/Mobile/Desktop) from design, implementation to testing and quality assurance either working solo, or manage teams up to 10 members. I am also proficient with my hands, able to carry out services and repairs on my car, DIY around house. I am also fluent in Chinese and Korean, with well established contacts in those countries.

Due to the nature of my area of expertise, I am leaning towards a IT/Communications company, but I have considered housing development and trade brokering so I am not locked in any particular field.

Thanks for taking your time to read this.
