We've been using NumberStore - www.numberstore.com - to supply our 0845 numbers for a while now and found their service and value for money to be excellent.

Their standard grade 0845 numbers are absolutely free for the first year - which as a startup we found really useful.

You can upgrade to a more feature-rich plan for around £8 per month which gives you loads of goodies like voicemail, fax to email, time of day routing, hunt groups etc.

We have a technical support number which is routed to the office during business hours, and to my mobile out of hours. And best of all - everything is configurable via a web interface, so you can make changes to your call routing where ever you are.
