Hi Samantha
I read your information with a great deal of interest and certainly hear where you are coming from with regards to being let down, as I lost quite an amount of money a few years ago by this, so have great empathy.
Within the last couple of weeks I have been looking to set up a business, in a partnership would be good, as two heads can often be better than one don't you think?! I have 17+ years in marketing and business development to global level, and have won several Awards for my work, in diverse market sectors I have to say. I am highly creative and proactive in my approach, and can certainly say that I come up with very unusual ideas to say the least, but at the end of the day it has won me those awards.
I have also a huge interest in art and creativity, am qualified in art & design and interior design, and have previously designed family and friends rooms, painted murals on walls and hand painted toy boxes, amongst other things.
My career has meant me working with SME's to larger conglomerates and I am very much into the promotion of small businesses and have assisted former work colleagues to set up their own businesses using my marketing and PR skills. Clients I have worked with include Next, Vidal Sassoon, M&S, Palace Theatre, Herbert Art Gallery and Guild Hall amongst others. This has included all marcoms/digital marketing/social media activities, off and on-line and considerable PR up to international level and for some businesses which are IPO listed, it is an area of work I love and am Diamond Qualified in Plain English and Proof Reading - I have always gained considerable PR coverage to say the least
Having worked in the construction/design and architecture sector this may well assist, as well as the fact that I designed my whole wedding, from the dress to the invitations, to the cake (saying that doing my own cake a week before the wedding I did wonder what I had done, but I as it's a hobby of mine I thought why should I pay someone!)
Well I think I Have put quite a bit of information in here for you to consider, I suppose what I would like to know is do you want somebody to be just down the road, or would it be ok if distance was commutable (I believe you are in Leeds which is fine), if you require financial input, what you are looking for in more depth, type of person (I hear you now saying somebody who will not let me down!) etc etc etc
I am sure there is loads you can tell me and a lot you would like to know about me, so if you would like to chat at all do get in touch - I have only just joined this site and you are the first I have mailed too!
Look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards
Kathy
PS I took a look at your website, had to be careful though, and it made my hubby laugh, I don't do spiders but at least I know this one is on-line and not sitting next to me, lol
