Hi Guy's

I've been wracking my brains for months if not years of a business to start. Every idea I have starts with excitement and then dies a death when I do research and find untold amounts of competitors.

My latest idea is a fashion store online - with the chance of opening a few highstreet stores if it works.

Now, fashion is clearly a massively saturated market, but does that mean that it's prohibitively difficult to enter?

I wanted to setup a shop that focuses on trends in the music industry, unlike a shop that focuses on the trends of the fashion shows and celebrity culture.

There are a number of other sites also doing this (with the music stuff) so does that tell me that there is a market for it, and that there is room for another OR does it mean that it's an over-served area, and that I will find it impossible to come up with anything that offers value or does something better than the competition?

Your thoughts and guidence on this would be greatly received as i'm getting nowhere in my decision making progress.

Cheers,
Colin
