This is the first time I've posted on these forums and I'm after your opinions.

I'm a software engineer with a strong background in logistics. What I'm thinking about creating is an internet browser-based product that would record a small business' inventory, i.e. location, qty, issues, receipts, re-ordering levels, consumption rates etc. I would emphasise though that this would be aimed at the small start-up, someone who probably keeps details of their stock and re-ordering on a spreadsheet or self-created database.

My main questions are whether you think there's a market for such a product and if any of you already running such a business would be potentially interested in such an application. I'd want the price to be in the range £50-100.

I'd appreciate your comments, good or bad.
