I want to start up my own business in my village. The shop I found is an ex fruit and veg shop and it has all the fixture and fitting already in the shop. While I was working in the shop it was a partnership. I asked one of the partners over the weekend whether he would reopen the shop and he said no because the trade in Skewen has been killed as the pervious partner was selling rubbish fruit and veg.

Is it worth me starting up this business even though the trade has been killed?

Is there any funding available if I do decide to set up?
