Hi, my names Alex and I'm 20. For the past two years I've been dreaming of owning my own business and being successful in life. My dream is to be happy and content, and hopefully rich! My website is www.feelingflush.co.uk





I constantly think of possible business ideas etc, I came up with one last year and decided to use it as my 1st venture into the world of business.





It came about when I was thinking of my interests, and how I could incorporate them into something which could make money. I love playing Poker and realised that so do a lot of my friends/ people I know. Whenever we play we sit around a crappy dining table with rubbish plastic chips and cheap cards, and it's still fun! I thought it would be awesome if we could rent out a quality Poker table, chips, cards etc just for the night. The more I thought about it the more I thought it would be a good idea, so I did some research.





It turns out that there was already a company doing something similar. They were a Poker events night company that specialised in providing all the Poker equipment and a professional dealer, for events, parties etc. They were charing around £250 per night, for 4 hours! I decided that I could do what they were doing, but better, providing better packages and reaching different parts of the market. Luckily they were based in London and I'm in the Northwest, so I wasn't on their turf. I decided I could offer the rental of all the equipment for a relatively cheap price, to appeal to the casual home game type of customers, and have a more flashy, dealer dealt package for functions and events bla bla bla.





So that's how it started, I now have a website - www.feelingflush.co.uk and am slowly but surely updating the business and moving forward. I hope to be launching in the next couple of months. My plan is to start small and expand, hopefully reaching a large section of the Northwest.





I'm not sure if it will take off, or even make me money. I just hope I learn from it and use it as inspiration to do something with my life. I'd love feedback on the idea and on my site. Cheers
