UK lawn care specialist Greensleeves is planning to expand its franchise network after increasing turnover by almost £1m in the last financial year.

Annual revenue increased from £2.4m in 2010 to £3.39m in 2011, and Greensleeves anticipates further growth in the year ahead.

The business has already incorporated seven new franchises since the start of January, taking the total number within its network to 59. Greensleeves is confident its franchise offering, which includes full training, accounts support and financial planning advice, will provide the incentive for scores of new applicants.

Greensleeves managing director David Truby said: “2011 was truly the best year so far for Greensleeves, with new franchisees joining from different areas, which helped us achieve our impressive turnover figures.

“We had a productive spring and this trend carried on as the year progressed.  By the summer we found we were very resilient against the effects of the recession.  The amount of effort and hard work the franchisees put in really pays off and our relationship with both our franchisees and our customers is a strong one.”

A Greensleeves franchise costs between £19,500 and £24,950, plus VAT. For more information please visit www.greensleeves-uk.com/franchise.
