I have a free edition of our popular software "invoiceit!" which you can download and use with no conditions attached, apart from some data limits. These can be extended if you register the program (this is free also).
With invoiceit! you can do your invoices, quotes and purchase orders, send documents by e-mail, manage VAT and your debtors, send statements, keep track of your sales with many reports, customise your invoice letterhead and much more.
An unrestricted edition ("invoiceit!Lite") costs only around £30, but for those on a tight budget, go for the free edition.
