Hi folks, i have recently added a forum to my gardening website, so far its slow, but i am trying my utmost and am working hard to get people through the door so to speak. (adwords, links etc)
We generally want people to sign up and enjoy chatting about all things garden, and help out if possible with any garden related queries.
Since starting the forum ive realised forums are a great way to interact and encourage people to your website, and thus far im encouraged by the visitors and feedback, however any opinions good or bad by you good people would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time

Then on all email communication you need to inform people, plus if you can try and move away from phbb and get a professional forum - it makes all the difference.
Add a unqiue twist to - i dunno seed exchange or something.
Try and get a well known public figure to offer advice and assitance in the forums.
and then - TELL EVERYONE
