e-commerce startup

I have an idea I have been researching and planning for the past 8 months, and now I am very close to taking the flight, however the biggest challenge is technical development. I would like to ask if there is any advice/help/assistance available for developing the technical side of a start-up? Are there grants or other technical assistance available?

Hi Chagoubatov
There is no one 'tech grant' but there are several EU grants and tax breaks for those innovating using technology, as well as incentives for setting up in certain areas of the country. I'd advise contacting your local Regional Development Agency to find out more:

Our grants section should also be able to help:

If you're not technical, you may want to try getting hold of a technical expert or system designer and ask them how much effort is required to develop the system you have in mind, and that will give you an indication of the complexity and therefore investment needed.
I'm technical, but I doubt you want to tell your idea to another entrepreneur

Hi all,
Thank you for your responses. It had taken a while but I have a Lead Technical Developer on board now. there are still skill gaps in the team but the project is off to a good start. I have gone through a bit of a learning curve myself and still have a way to go yet.
All the best with your entrepreneurial projects and if you have anything you may need a steer on in the commercial or marketing sense don't hesitate to get in touch.
