Former Dragon Doug Richard is bringing his School for Startups to the British Library later this month.

The serial entrepreneur and original Dragons’ Den investor will be running the Start here! Starting & growing a successful business master-class on Saturday 19th of September.

The interactive seminars have been designed to teach budding entrepreneurs to ask themselves important questions about issues such as identifying customers, making their proposition more attractive and gaining competitive advantage before they invest time or money in an idea.

“Starting a fast growth company does not happen by magic and nor does it involve merely effort," said Richard.

"If anything it is a frame of mind. All businesses must have a long-term aim and purpose. That purpose creates the focus and the identity of the company. The reason I started School for Startups is because intelligent people want to reduce their risk of failure and increase the odds of success."
