And looking at another opportunity I could do with some help please.

I have an idea for a new slant on a food product a 'spread'. There are competitors who are established in the market but I think I can see a gap that can be exploited.

I want to find the best way to develop the line. I was thinking of manufacturing the line and selling via farmers markets etc but I would rather go for possibly supplying health food shops, deli's and selling via my own website.

Another option would be to test the product line maybe in some consumer groups to gain feedback and then present to the larger stores.

To be honest, Im just not sure of the right move. Funds are not unlimited and maybe a mix of the markets/shops and web sales could be a way to build a business.

Has anyone here ever done this kind of thing and what approach did you use?
