I'm am in the process of setting up a new web based business and looking into the fees associated with accepting card payments. I have looked at a few companies protx and streamline but could someone explain the different parts involved e.g. transaction fees, gateway fees and merchant accounts. Does one company cover all 3 of these processes? and the companies that may offer the best value for a small business starting out on a tight budget?
