Not sure if you knew, Google Street View spent most of last year taking photos around the UK.

Last Thursday they updated, so you can now have a virtual view around your town, and anywhere else in the UK.

We are brainstorming at the moment for ideas as to commercial applications for the new system.

The obvious ones are estate agents, websites promoting towns, online business directories, holiday cottages and so on.

We've come up with virtual driving tests for one of our clients, so learner drivers can, as practice before their tests, drive the route and get to know the roads and junctions.

Can anyone else think of anymore?

P.S. No scary ideas like seeing where the expensive cars are parked please.
