I have noticed there are many people using this site with good suggestions. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions on the layout, content, etc of our website. www.greekreference.com

I just checked out your site and registered. A few initial comments i have:
1. I think its an interesting idea howver (see note 5)
2. The site design is pretty average looks like a template to me (may be wrong).
3. The copy is bad - the written English grammer isn't great. I wont give exact exmples but the first paragraph on the Who We Are page to me doesn't read well at all.
4. I registered and when i got my activation url i tried varying the url paramater and got various errors including a blank screen with nothing but my IP address and "(none) (none)" displayed and another time i appeared to activate someone else's registration. I'd suggest tidying up your global variables validation and make that activation code a bit more complex.
5. One thing that strikes me about the whole concept is why would I want to be 20 bucks for something that is essentially free. I assume my option if I dont use your site is I call or email someone and ask them for a reference - which in essence costs me nothing? I'd suggest you make it free and try and build a user base first.
