Hi all,
You seem like friendly folk in here. Im Ro. Im also bored with work and want my own business.
I am based in West Sussex, currently working for an IT software consultancy and need to drastically change my llifestyle before I lose the plot!
Ive discovered a niche in a very specific area and want to buy out the current owners of a fast food take away so I can set up a nice litttle deli/coffee shop.
Thing is I havent the foggiest where to start. So Im hoping someone here might be able to help me..... Anything will be greatly appreciated.
Ta muchly,
ro

Check whether there are a lot of businesses in the area - office workers make a nice, loyal lunchtime trade. The guys who set up coffee shop and deli Amano also spent a while checking out footfall. Check out this article for more tips.

Kevin, this sounds stupid but I cannot see where/how to contact you privately??? I just cant see it anywhere!
Real business - thank you for the feedback.. It is in a very popular area for lunch and coffees. Interesting read about Amano. Like the concept but its a bit far out for my little townside cafe at the moment. Mundo appreciation my freind.

Hi Ro,
If you haven't already got some demographic data on the location I may be able to help. I run a information service for small businesses. If you need any demographic data contact me. i.e whats the age of the population near your location? average income? social grouping? what jobs do they have? etc
These stats should help you work out if the location is right, and also areas around the location to target your marketing.

I hope this helps,
