Can't alter a new thread post on here

Is it me? or do others on here have the same problem?

Just tried to edit my post for a grammatical error via - 'Edit original post'. Changes made but the post stays the same. Altered it a dozen times, but nothing changes when reposted. There are no other thread replies so what is going on?

Any ideas?

The software is fairly rudimentary and often doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

I wonder if it it's a security issue to stop people returning to their posts later and completely changing the meaning and filling posts with spam or defamatory comments
