Hello everyone!
I'm a Business Studies A-Level student doing a feasibility study piece of coursework and was wondering if there was anyone who could help me with predicted costs for a Bar?
Ive had a look at the website (really nice too btw) and the Winebar info is helpful, but was wondering if anyone who runs a bar could give me ballpark start up figures, and daily/monthly costs. I dont need to know the name of the business and no names will be mentioned.
I have tryed a local bar and they are as of yet to get back to me, its getting quite late for me to get some information as Ive had such bad luck in getting any.
Any help would be much appriciated

Hi Mike,
You have done exactly what I did during my studies, which is to try and get the info from a person who actually does it for real, which I feel is the right way.
Anyway try researching on the net or get a book about success stories or perhaps watch relocation relocation program that comes on the Home and leisure channel, which is based on people starting up a business or relocating, that is if you can't get time with a pub or bar land lord. Try and Try.
That out the way, the only thing I could say is that there are several things to be considered such as leasing the pub, or buying in some cases but unlikely, maintenenace, staffing, goods dealing with the brewery, refurishments etc. I hope this helps you and good luck.
