I works for public sector and am developing an asset management system (PC, laptop, printer, purchase orders etc) for my work. I would say it is bit a small erp system.

Is it worth well to create my own version and try to sell it to some small or start up businesses? I believe I can handle the copy right issue well.

The only advantage for the system would be price and it can be tailered according to the company's exactly requirements.

Is it worth thinking of?
