Hi Nalsop.
I do not have any experience of Oaktree but I'm always curious when somebody is selling a franchise... Do you know why they are selling, I mean REALLY why?
Also, do you have a background in the home delivered meals market?

I had the S WALES franchise from october 2006 to july 2008 and lost 40k plus, they at present have numerous franchise areas for sale and in fact have recently closed their Cardiff office and if they were making good profits would these areas be for sale.I am not the only failed franchiser with Oakhouse foods.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have decided not to invest in the franchise. I notice too that a lot of Oakhouse franchises are for sale.

This is a wise choice

On the other hand you could try to find out why their is a high churn rate with this franchise and see if there is maybe a solution coming from the franchisor, you may be able to pick yourself up a bargain with one of the resales and turn it around.
I'm clutching at straws though, it sounds like they are best avoided if you want to invest your cash sensibly.
