I am a mortgage broker who needs to be able to collect my fee from my clients. As some of them don't have a cheque to give me I would like to be able to take payment via credit/debit card. Since I visit clients in their homes, I won't have access to any electronic devices and will need to be able to take the payment "offline" when I get back into the office.
Any ideas?

Hi AJ
Some banks still give out the hand swipe machinmes that were first used when cards were released. You swipe the client's card at the site, give them a copy, then process your paperwork with a 'Merchant Summary' when you're back at the office. For best details, contact your bank.
You may find though, that the fees for this outweigh the benefit - again dependant on which bank you're using.
Cheers, Nigel
