I am thinking of offering this service to Start Ups and small companies.
The package would include:
1) Incoming calls answered by a Receptionist and transfered to the business
2) Business number
3) Voicemail
4) Out of hours message
5) Call divert
6) Call transfer
7) Music on hold
Only addional cost would be the price of a handset - about £65
Does anyone think this offer would be taken up?
What price would you be prepared to pay for this service?
Any other comments or advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like a good idea to me, All Day PA offer a similar call answering service and have been quite successful

There are a number of similar services and most of them include an office address a number of businesses would take up such a service. Who pays for the cost of transfering the call , is it covered by the £10

Hi
Transfered calls to the fixed line Handset will be included within the £10 charge. Transfers to mobiles would incure a cost of 15p per minute.

It sounds like a very practical service that many small businesses would be interested in hiring. The price sounds fine as well.

It is a good idea, but then there are already automated "virtual receptionist services" to compete with . If you go ahead I would suggest branding the service with the price - i.e £10 as this is a good selling point

Within this service you can have a virtual automated servcie included i.e press 1 for pres 2 for..... but in addition you also get an allocated Receptionist all for £10 per week.
