The Mattress Doctor®, established in the UK in mid 2002, operated two company owned territories before launching the Franchise opportunity in April 2003.

Almost from the moment we launched, we have attracted considerable media coverage on TV, Radio and in National newspapers and magazines which has assisted us in establishing The Mattress Doctor as the leading brand in the market place and helped to generate public awareness of the service and enquiries for our Franchisees.

Since then we have become one of the fastest expanding and most popular Franchises in the UK, attracting Franchisees from all walks of life who are excited by the concept and business opportunity, several of whom have gone on to develop substantial incomes within a matter of months. Since the launch in the UK, we have expanded our operations into The Republic of Ireland, the United States of America, Canada, Norway, Cyprus and South Africa.

We believe our success and the considerable interest in the Franchise opportunity is due to a number of factors which differentiate us from other Franchise opportunities and from the various "me too" operations that are endeavouring to copy us, most of which are just dealerships offering little or no ongoing support. A visit to the British Franchise Association website and a look at the statistics will show that the chances of success are greatly increased if you run a franchise as opposed to starting on your own in business.

Initial fee £9,750 + vat of which the franchisor invests a considerable sum into initial marketing launch. No ongoing royalties - just a flat monthly marketing / support and equipment maintenance fee of £250 + vat.
