Does it work Ian? I tried to download a spam protection programme and it really messed up my inbox.

I have my email address obfuscated on one of my websites and I have never received spam to that address so I assume that it does work but many of the email addresses are harvested directly from Nominet thus defeating the object unless you use a throw away email address to register domains with.
The only anti spam measure that I use is Mailwasher which I find works very well.

I use throaway addresses when registering with Nominet and also opt-out of the Whois.
However, when I turn my catch all alias on I get sales@ help@ admin@ etc. all my domains.
The trick is not to use sales@yourdomain.www but something more unique which also works from a sales point of view like candle.sales@candleshop.www or light-up-my-life@candleshop.www

Unfortunately I am wise after the event. One of my domains is registered in my wife's name. She has a common name but a very unusual spelling of it and has never sent an email at all. I was rather surprised when the spam started and assume that her email address must have been harvested from Nominet
