Hi Goofie
It would all depend on how much you bought and sold your stock for and how many items you could expect to sell in a week.for instance if you bought the jackets at £5 each and sold them for £15 you would nedd to sell 71/2 a week just to cover the rent.Hope this helps.

Although we're primarily a wholesaler of ladies clothing and footwear, we do run two regular market stalls in the UK. One is in the city centre and one is in a nice countryside town. Passing trade is much better in the city market, but spending is much much lower. Profits average about 150 GBP per weekend (net). However, the country town market consistently averages 350 GBP net profit for a weekend's work. We're very happy with that. Of course, it is seasonal with sales being lower when the bad weather comes.
I think it's due to the type of products we offer, low prices and yet still the ability to keep good mark-ups. We're now encouraging other market traders out of the area to try our products.
