Hi peeps hows tricks??
My business partner and I have been working solidly on a project for the last 3 months and I have a further 6 months of research on top of that but things are looking like they wont be going to plan. Our idea was to open a clothing store in our local area and twin this with an e-commerce/ infomation portal website which would be very indepth in our chosen market.
We need over £25K to get this project off the ground and it looks as like we cant raise that much :-(
So after much discussion we have decided to launch the web side of the business first but make it more dymanic and proactive in content and merchandise & services we will sell. Then move onto the shop when the business is up and running.
Our worry is that it wont bring in sales via our online shop area and our hard erned money we spent to set up the website will go to waiste!. The info portal will be the best around in the UK as we have research alot of other and they are lacking in every way possible but that wont bring in any revenue, would it???.
Has anyone who has started a web based business got any advice as to things we should do to ensure business survival??
Also we would like to broker certain types holidays and sell them via our website. Does anyone know how I would go about doing that??
Matt
